What I process, and why

• Business contact details of community directors (name, community, role, business email, website address). Source: the community's own public website and public business listings. Purpose: to send one short, specific message about a concept film built from that community's public photographs, and to follow up at most once. Legal basis: legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR) in offering a relevant business service to the person who publicly markets that community. I contact only the published business address, and every message carries a one-line opt-out.
• Client details (contact details, order details, invoices). Purpose: performing the contract and meeting accounting obligations. Legal basis: contract and legal obligation. Retention: as required by Hungarian accounting law, eight years for invoices.
• Sample pages: when a sample page is opened, the page records that it was viewed and whether the film was played, without cookies and without identifying the viewer. I use this only to know whether a sample was seen.
• This website sets no tracking cookies and runs no analytics scripts. Cloudflare, the hosting provider, processes technical request data (IP address, user agent) to serve and protect the site.

Residents

I do not process any data about residents, prospective residents or their families. Films are made only from photographs that show no identifiable person.

Opting out

Reply "no" to any message, or email gabriel@automating.space, and I stop contacting you and delete your contact record the same business day. I keep your email address on an internal suppression list only to make sure I do not contact you again.

If you are in the United States

Any message I send you first is a commercial email under the CAN-SPAM Act. It identifies itself as such, shows my postal address and carries a one-line opt-out that I honor the same business day. I do not sell, rent or share your personal information with anyone, and I do not use it for anything except the one message, at most one follow-up, and the suppression list that keeps me from writing again.

Your rights

You can ask for access to, correction or deletion of your data, object to processing, or complain to a supervisory authority (in Hungary, the NAIH). Email me and I answer within one month.

Transfers

Data is stored with providers in the European Union and the United States under standard contractual clauses or an adequacy decision, as applicable.
